Date: June 24 – June 28

Time: 8:45 AM – 3:00 PM

Cost: $100 for the entire week

If you want to learn more about our legal system and build public speaking skills, or enjoy putting pieces of a story together and discovering connections, check out Chesterton Academy of Omaha’s Mock Trial Camp! Mock trial develops critical thinking, writing, and speaking skills through the fun of developing a case from fictional witness statements. Each day after Mass, participants will learn how to analyze a case, write their own trial parts, and spend time practicing their new skills working with each other and Chesterton Academy Students. The week culminates in a full mock trial performance with participants playing the roles of both witnesses and attorneys.

Location: Chesterton Academy of Omaha (School building behind St. Mary’s, 36th & Q Streets)

Instructor: Mrs. Jessen Jesse, teacher at Chesterton Academy of Omaha

You and your children are invited to attend the 8:00 mass at St. Mary’s before the morning camps. Following mass, we will offer a light breakfast. A teacher will be at the southeast church door to meet the children at 7:50 if a parent is not attending. Otherwise, children may be dropped off at the school between 8:35-8:45.

Please enter our parking lot on Q Street and exit on 36th. We will be using our new school entrance under the awning, the second door, on 36th Street.
