March

Pay $450 fee for books, art supplies, Chesterton prolife T-shirt, Chesterton sweatshirt, house T-shirt, and summer reading books. We will place orders. Parents and friends may order Chesterton Academy prolife T-shirts and sweatshirts HERE.

April

We will set up a TADS (Tuition Aid Data Services) account so you may create a family profile if you would like to make monthly tuition payments or apply for financial aid. TADS is a system developed in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis to manage tuition and financial aid. Otherwise, you may pay tuition annually or semi-annually without TADS.

Placement Tests: All students are required to take a Reading Comprehension and Writing Assessment as part of the application and enrollment process. There is an option to take the Latin test if a student would like to pass out of Latin 1. These tests will be administered on April 8 th , 2025. While taking Geometry freshman year, students will be tested to determine whether Algebra 1 or Algebra 2 is the most appropriate placement for sophomore year.

The Classical Learning Tests (CLT) will be administered to students at Chesterton Academy annually as a diagnostic tool to identify areas of academic strengths and opportunities for growth and to apply to many colleges. The CLT10 (9th and 10th grade) and the CLT (for 11th and 12th grade) cover:

  •  Verbal reasoning skills
  •  Grammar and writing skills
  •  Quantitative reasoning skills

Tuition and Fees

Chesterton Academy is committed to offering an outstanding high school education at an affordable cost to families.

Tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year is $6,500.

The book and activities fee is $450 per student.

Tuition does not cover the full cost of an education at Chesterton, therefore all families are asked to assist and volunteer throughout the year at various events.

The $450 book fee is due upon enrollment.

Financial Assistance

We are committed to making Chesterton Academy affordable, even for families who have modest incomes or challenging financial situations. Chesterton Academy utilizes the services of TADS to help us collect information to offer financial aid based on a family’s particular circumstances, like medical bills, multiple tuitions, or other special circumstances. The student application process must be completed in full before being considered for financial aid.

TADS does charge a fee for the financial aid application. This fee pays for the processing and auditing of your application.

Families who want to be considered for Financial Aid should not delay in filing an application.

To start an application, visit the TADS Financial Aid Portal and login or register as a new user.  Our partner code is 201129.
